2006 Evergreen CupThe Washington State Soccer Association would like to invite you to the Evergreen Cup Tournament being held July 7th, 8th, and 9th, 2006 in Bellingham Washington. The Evergreen Cup is the premier amateur tournament in the Pacific Northwest. In past tournaments, teams have traveled from British Columbia, Mexico, Germany, Oregon, California and all over the beautiful state of Washington to compete against the Best of the Best! Northwest Soccer Park is the proud host of our tournament. It is an athletic complex with 8 plus gorgeous grass soccer fields. Bellingham, located on Puget Sound is just one hour north of Seattle on I-5 and 20 minutes south of the US - Canadian border. Popular activities of Bellingham are fishing, boating, and whale watching excursions to Orcas Island and Friday Harbor. Bellingham, "Gateway to Alaska", is also the southern terminus for the Alaska State Ferries. Mount Baker, whose view from the soccer park is nothing less than spectacular, is a beautiful 45 minute drive into the Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest. The Evergreen Cup offers Men's and Women's Open and 0-30 competitions. We have a limited and unlimited division and offer prize money to 1st and 2nd place finishers in each division. The limited division is restricted to teams that compete solely within the state of Washington. The unlimited division welcomes competitors from anywhere.
