National Cup

USASA NATIONAL CUP COMPETITION

The National Cup Competition is the oldest soccer tournament in the United States. Any team playing in a league affiliated with the United States Adult Soccer Association is eligible to compete in this competition.

USASAThe tournament began in 1914 with the Men's Open Cup. In 1923 the Men's Amateur Cup was added. In 1980 the National Cups were expanded to include the Women’s Amateur Cup and the Women’s 030 Cup.

Each year approximately 250 teams across the United States participate in the National Cup Competition. Winners of the 4 Regional Competitions advance to the National Cup Championship Tournament. There, eight(8) teams will earn the title of National Champion!

Washington State Soccer Association, in conjunction with the United States Adult Soccer Association, is proud to be hosting the National Cup Championships for 2007 and 2008 at Starfire Sports Complex. This year’s event will be held August 3 – 5.
